ULTRIX® IS AN INFLUENZA VACCINE OF THE LATEST GENERATION

RESULTS OF POST-REGISTRATION TESTS OF THE VACCINE
As a result of the large scale clinical tests with participation of more than 10 thousand volunteers the epidemiologic effectiveness and safety of the vaccine was proven:
- No general reactions, adverse effects and serious adverse effects of injecting the influenza vaccine were exposed. Good acceptability of the inactivated influenza vaccine ULTRIX ® was observed including the age group past 60 years old;
- It was defined that the persons vaccinated with the influenza vaccine ULTRIX ® had the uncomplicated cases of ARVI and in one case the duration of the disease was shorter as compared to the non-vaccinated ones;
- The reduction in the burden of ARVI among the observed vaccinated persons was noted, including the secluded groups of people;
- The reduction in the burden of ARVI in the group of people vaccinated with the influenza vaccine ULTRIX ® was defined despite the “seasonal” growth of the registered number of cases;
- High immunogenic effect of the vaccine ULTRIX ® is defined;
- The protective level of anti-bodies to all three influenza virus strains contained by the vaccine is proven to last for no less than 201 day after the vaccination;
- The effectiveness of the influenza vaccine ULTRIX ® is noted both in relation to the influenza viruses and other acute respiratory viral infections.
