SOVIGRIPP® IS A VACCINE FOR INFLUENZA PROPHYLAXIS (INACTIVATED)
Active annual prophylactic immunization against seasonal influenza. The vaccine containing no preservation agent is used for the infants from 6 months old, teenagers and adults without age limitations and pregnant women in the 2nd – 3rd pregnancy trimesters; the vaccine with a preservation agent is used for the adults from 18 years old.
The vaccine is specifically indicated for:
Persons with high risk of falling ill and developing complication in case of having a flu:
persons past 60 years old; children of pre-school age; school children;
persons often having acute respiratory infections;
persons with chronic somatic diseases, including the diseases and defects of cardio-vascular, respiratory and central nervous systems, chronic renal diseases, metabolism diseases, diabetes, chronic anemia, allergy diseases (except allergy to egg albumen), inborn or acquired immunodeficiency including the ones infected by HIV;
pregnant women.
Persons subjected to high risk of having influenza or infecting other persons due to their educational or professional activities:
students;
healthcare staff;
the staff employed in social, management, education, catering, food service, transport, trade spheres;
military men and policemen.
The vaccination is conducted annually in the fall-winter period. The vaccination is possible at the beginning of the epidemic growth of the influenza occurrence.
