Nacimbio and Novikombank, Rostec State Corporation’s base bank, have signed an agreement worth 6 billion rubles within the framework of the ARMY 2023 International Military and Technical Forum aiming to secure financing for the company’s current activities.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Elena Georgieva, Chairman of the Board of Novikombank, and Pavel Sidorenkov, Deputy General Manager for Economics and Finance of Nacimbio.

“Supporting the country’s systemically important enterprises is one of Novikombank’s priority areas of activity. Expanding cooperation with Nacimbio, a recognized expert in the production of immunobiological products, is of great importance for us, as it indicates our partner’s trust and the high quality of financial services provided. The new contract will contribute to the development of enterprises in the Russian biopharmaceutical industry that are part of the holding and to ensuring national sovereignty in this area,” commented Elena Georgieva, Chairman of the Board of Novikombank, curator of the Voronezh regional branch of SoyuzMash of Russia.

The Nacimbio strategy provides for the production of medicinal products, with an emphasis on immunobiological pharmaceuticals, important for the national security of Russia. The scientific potential of the holding enterprises enables the full-cycle biological product manufacturing: from the development of modern substances and conducting preclinical and effective studies up to release into civilian circulation. In recent years, Nacimbio has released the first Russian combined vaccine, Vactrivir, which concurrently protects against three diseases, i. e. measles, mumps, and rubella, the latest generation anti-influenza product Ultrix Quadri, as well as a polysaccharide vaccine for the prevention of meningococcal infection.

The company has also produced COVID-Globulin, a highly purified human immunoglobulin blood product that targets COVID-19, which was isolated from donor plasma with anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. It was developed in record time and entered the market at the height of the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. In December 2022, Microgen, a Nacimbio Holding enterprise, was granted market authorization for the first domestic intravenous normal human immunoglobulin presented as a 10% solution and sold under the BioGam brand.
